Hey, I'm Vera. I'm a Barcelona-based freelance writer and tour-guide specializing in food, culture and history. In particular, I like to write about food history, immigration&food, and fusion cuisine. I lead food tours through Devour and Sobremesa, and additionally offer customizable private experiences to showcase Barcelona's history and culture.
As a proud Argentine-American who was born and raised in New York City but has also lived in Los Angeles, I have a deep love for empanadas, 99 cent pizza, and California-style burritos.
